Collex Collision Experts was established in 1975 when founder and CEO John Gagliano opened his first body shop on Nine Mile Road in Warren and called it Motor City Collision. In 1985, John opened his second shop in Sterling Heights and changed the company name to "Collex Collision Experts." Over the next 20 years, Collex has evolved into 11 locations and has become Metro-Detroit's #1 collision repair facility. In April of 2007, Collex opened its first out of state location in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Collex People: All new employees begin their Collex careers at Collex University, an in-house training center located at the corporate headquarters in Clinton Twp.
