The Place for Aspiring Makeup Professionals
Multimedia Makeup Academy was founded in 2010 in efforts to bring professional makeup training to the Midwest. MMA’s philosophy is based on a firm commitment to excellence in both professionalism and artistry. All of MMA’s facilitators have training in classroom management, curriculum planning, student learning styles, and teaching manipulatives. Most importantly, all facilitators are master artists and teach only what they specialize in. Students will learn from their instructors how to gain, define, and refine their skills during the time in the classroom.
MMA finds theory and practical equally important in order to master any type of new skill. MMA has developed unconventional ways to help inspire and bring creativity to their student experience both while attending and after graduation. MMA and its affiliates are committed to giving their students the best understanding of makeup by limiting enrollment to a 10/1 student/instructor ratio. In addition, each classroom has a student aide to help with classroom management. MMA believes it is imperative to have a formal education if students want to expedite their career and earn the title: Professional Makeup Artist.
